Once passed you will have a full licence to ride any motorcycle up to 35kw. We will ride you to the test centre and use such time available as a warm up and final prep. The final session is Mod 2 Test Session and includes the Module 2 Test. Topics like the Show Me/Tell Me questions, Angled Start, Hill Start and Independent Ride will be covered, as well as a wide variety of road and traffic conditions. This is entirely road based and is preparing you for the Module 2 Test. The fourth session is Mod 2 Training Session. There may be a small amount of time to recap on the Mod 1 exercises before riding to the test centre. The third session is Mod 1 Test Session, which has the Module 1 Test done in this time (this takes about 15 minutes) but essentially is a road skills based session. This is then followed by the faster exercises: controlled stop, emergency stop and avoidance (swerve). You will cover slow manoeuvres slalom, figure of eight, U-turn, slow ride and pushing & parking. This training session will all take place in the training area. You will be introduced to a larger motorcycle and go through all the training required for the Module 1 Motorcycle Test. The second session is Mod 1 Training Session where you will be riding a 500cc motorcycle. It is essentially a road based training session. If you have a valid CBT then the first session will be a Road Rider, again done on a 125cc and designed to get you ready to move up to a bigger motorcycle. If you need to renew your CBT, then the first day will be a CBT - Experienced done on a 125cc. They are further sub-divided for those with a Theory Test and those without. They differ slightly in duration, but only for the first day. We have two different types of Experienced Restricted A2 Licence Courses for those with a CBT and those without. If you haven’t already taken the Theory Test, then the course will start with an hour to take this at a DVSA Theory Test Centre. This course is for riders with some previous experience (Experienced)
